Donate 1% of your tax to the Foundation !!!
Foundation “Fortalicja Czemierniki” has a special status of a public benefit organization (organizacja pożytku publicznego). That means that according to the Law of the public benefit activity and voluntary service, you are able to donate 1% of your tax to the Foundation.
1% should be paid to the Foundation’ bank account. At the same time the amount of the tax that you have to pay will be decreased by this 1%.

Foundation „Fortalicja Czemierniki” was established in May 2004 and was registered in the National Law Register (Krajowy Rejestr Sądowy). Foundation can operate not only on the domestic market, but also abroad. It is based in Warsaw.
Foundation’ main tasks: *maintenance of the national tradition, protection of the Polish identity, care about the development of the national, cultural and civil awareness;
- protection of the art, culture and tradition;
- charity;
- promotion of voluntary services;
- activities supporting the process of European integration.
The tasks of the Foundation are being fulfilled mainly by: – Acquisition of the historical buildings that are threatened by the total destruction, called “technical death”, in order to restore them or to maintain as the “permanent ruin”; – Reconstruction and restoration of historical buildings that are and are not the property of the Foundation; – Cooperation with departments of the Polish universities interested in the fields connected with history, culture and tradition and with the Polish institutions looking after the monuments and historical buildings; – Preparation and inspiration of interdisciplinary activities; gathering artists, scientists and activists around the aims of the Foundation, both domestic and abroad and helping them to be active in the fields of restoration of historical buildings, promotion of culture and of Polish tradition; – Involving in international activities and processes aiming at the protection of international heritage and monuments; – Keeping in touch with Polish societies abroad; – Preparation and organization of conferences, seminars, competitions, exhibitions and other activities and events; promotion of non-profit publicities connected with the aims of Foundation; – Fundraising; supporting education of Foundation’ employees in order to improve implementation of tasks included in the statutes; – Supporting public initiatives consistent with the ideas of Foundation.
• In order to fulfill its statutory tasks Foundation may cooperate with governmental institutions, non-governmental organizations, private businesses or any other private persons who wish to support the aims of Foundation.
