According to the statutes, Foundation concentrates its activities on the wide idea of protection of national heritage in Poland. One of the first projects of the Foundation, that fulfill the ideas of the Foundation, will be restoration and conservation of Fortalicja in Czemierniki. What is more, we are planning to establish a historical background to the fortress, that will include horse riding site and a historical village.
All these activities will be run under the authority and oversight of the Polish National Heritage Conservator, so that we are sure that we are able to bring back the original appearance of the Fortalicja – especially of the defensive buildings and wall and renaissance palace. Our further target will be modernization of the whole village Czemierniki in order to increase its touristic potential and turn into an especially attractive region in Poland.

We do hope that our project will significantly contribute not only to the process of protection and restoration of national heritage in Poland, but will also give the local people a great possibility to develop and to be more active. All this should increase the attractiveness of the whole region, that is now unfortunately an example of one of the least developed in Poland. Foundation wishes to open the renovated Fortalicja for tourists, students, people connected with art and culture. We plan an interdisciplinary program of events in the Fortalicja, including: exhibitions, concerts, meetings, conferences, seminars, all kinds of events for children and youth, scholarships for students, archeological research and any other contributing to the development of culture and art.
